Theme Hospital Update

It's been a while since since my first blog post on Theme Hospital, and there has been a reasonable amount of development since then, so I thought I'd post a video showing some of the new stuff:

As before, if you're interested in grabbing a copy, or contributing, then see the Google Code project.

Multiplayer

Do you have any plans to expand on the multiplayer features? I always hated how you couldn't adjust the victory conditions or create any maps of your own.

Keep up the awesome work. It's amazing to see what you've been able to accomplish.

No original code

Actually, for a change, I haven't done any disassembly of the original game binaries. All the assets are loaded from the original game data files, but the code itself is written with no knowledge of the original code.

Nice!

Looking great, I guess you did some looking into the original code, I'd be fascinated by some of the routines the staff and patients use (likely simple, but man, this was the days of DOS :) ).

If I have any time and it looks like I can help or even just test this, I'll find my CD of Theme Hospital and give it a shot. I am quite fascinated by this, especially since it'd allow some custom content and perhaps the multiplayer mode I never got to play :)
